The mature parkland in which ‘Captain David’s’ Course is laid out once formed a part of the Chirk Castle parkland, and the Course is bounded by the beautiful Llangollen Canal. Each hole has been carefully designed and maintained to provide a firm but fair golfing challenge with numerous water features and the natural undulations of the countryside.

The Par 72 Championship course has won acclaim for fairness and flexibility which can play as short as 5757 yards or, for the really ambitious 7281 yards. The Par 5 9th hole measures some 664 yards from the white tees and is one of the longest in Europe. With mature Parkland, numerous water features and undulating greens you are sure to have a very pleasant and eventful round.
